Large spheres of handblown Czech glass with a custom brass socket assembly through one side. Each glass sphere is blown by hand without the use of moulds, and so is slightly imperfect in shape. Available in two sizes. Each is broken hot from the blower’s pipe and the mouth then fire-polished to create an uncontrollable detail unique to each piece. Two brass thumb screws attach the removable bulb-and-socket from the side of the glass.

Gelato var upphaflega hannaður á sjöunda áratugnum af Carlo Nason frá Murano en hefur nú verið endurhannaður sem leikfullur og færanlegur lampi. Litríkur og munnblásinn fóturinn ber kúlu úr ópalgleri. Kúlan er upplýst með útskiptanlegri og sérsmíðaðri LED-peru sem stýrt er með þriggja þrepa snerti dimmer og gengur lampinn fyrir segulhlaðinni rafhlöðu. Einungis ætlað til notkunar innanhúss.

Gelato dregur nafn sitt af hinu kunna ítalska fyrirbrigði (ísnum) sem lampinn minnir svo mjög á. Hann samanstendur af litríkum glervasa eða skál sem hýsir svo kúlu úr frostnu gleri. Sjálfstæða glerkúlan geymir sérsmíðaða, útskiptanlega LED-peru með innbyggðri rafhlöðu sem kveikt er á með þriggja þrepa snerti dimmer. Þessi færanlegi glerlampi er hlaðinn beint á kúlunni með segulmögnuðum USB-C hleðslusnúrum sem nú fylgja öllum þráðlausum ljósum í línunni hjá Established & Sons.
