ASYMMETRIC FLOOR PRESENCE — OFF CENTER FLOOR LAMP

The Off Center Floor Lamp by Atelier Areti brings the studio's playful asymmetry to floor level. A white glass globe is positioned off-center on a slender powder-coated metal structure — creating a floor lamp that is as much a sculptural installation as a functional light. A G9 LED (5W max) provides the warm, intimate glow, available in four colour configurations with a 2 m cable. Handcrafted in Germany.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Atelier Areti is a Berlin-based lighting design studio founded by sisters Gwendolyn and Guillane Kerschbaumer. Known for their meticulous craftsmanship and bold use of colour and geometry, every Atelier Areti piece is handmade in Germany. Their work bridges the boundary between functional lighting and sculptural art, earning a devoted following among architects, interior designers, and design collectors worldwide.

The Once Light is a single lit sphere of handblown Czech glass that rests atop a brass ring (included). Available in three sizes. The 110mm and 180mm glass diffusers are available in both “dipped” glass, featuring the SkLO double-dipped flame-polished mouth and “textured” glass, featuring a soft, frosted finish and subtle sculpted vertical ridges. The 250mm diffuser is available in “dipped” glass only.

Optical Floor features glass trihedrons that combine elegance with linearity. A structure in natural or dark burnished brass supports the glass element, available in amber, smoke grey, or crystal, emphasizing a sense of verticality. The light source filters through the diffuser, radiating a soft, ambient glow into the surrounding space. The Optical collection is also available in wall, table, suspension with one or three elements, and floor/suspension versions.

The Orbit series draws direct inspiration from the original light source—the sun—using an opalescent glass globe. Taking central stage, this glowing sphere is enclosed in a wire cage evocative of the familiar planetary manoeuvre.

The pendant version can be suspended as a single fixture, or in multiples.
