The V.LF.02 coffee table is designed by Linn Fredlund for Verk, with a brief that was simple and demanding in equal measure: something timeless that lets the materials speak. The result is a table where solid Swedish oak and a Gotland stone slab are juxtaposed with the greatest finesse. A wooden wedge penetrates the top to connect it to the base — a visible detail that is both structural and poetic. Available in two sizes, with a choice of Norrvange limestone or Hoburgs marble, and finished untreated or with natural linseed oil. The thermo-formed curvilinear profile of the Vale Floor Lamp is accentuated while it stands on a polished weighted mirror base with either one or two module(s) stacked vertically. As light is transmitted through a prismatic diffuser, the lamp's brightness can be adjusted by a dimmer to the desire of its user.
