The Metro La Tre is a sculptural table lamp born from one of contemporary design's most celebrated tributes to urban infrastructure. In 2017, Milan–Brussels architecture studio Piovenefabi paid homage to the Milan metro system with a landmark installation at the Chicago Architecture Biennial — a floor lamp that faithfully reproduced the metro's iconic handrail. Valerie Objects then transformed that gallery statement into a full lighting collection, deconstructing the original form into its elemental shapes and reassembling them into a family of playful, architecturally rigorous lamps. The Metro La Tre is the third table lamp in the series — compact, expressive, and unmistakably metro-inspired.

The Metro La Tre e Mezzo is the largest and most expansive table lamp in Valerie Objects' celebrated Metro Lamps collection. Conceived by Milan–Brussels architecture studio Piovenefabi — whose 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial installation reimagined the Milan metro's iconic handrail as a floor lamp — this piece extends the series with a wider, more commanding presence. The Metro La Uno floor lamp is the original and most iconic piece in Valerie Objects' Metro Lamps collection — a direct translation of the installation that launched the series. The Mimesis mirror by Please Wait to Be Seated is a wall mirror with two offset panels that play with angles and depth, creating intriguing, asymmetrical reflections of its surroundings. Its name is inspired by the ancient Greek concept of mimesis — the aesthetics of imitation and the tension between illusion and reality.

The bold metal frame and clean lines accentuate the mirror’s irregular reflections, making it a dynamic decorative piece that shifts in appearance depending on the viewer’s angle. Available in Ash Grey and Basque Red.
