The HAL is a coat rack that showcases UTIL’s principles in a way that only such a simple piece can.
Designed by UTIL’s creative director, Manuel Amaral Netto, HAL was designed as an unobstructive solution that could seamlessly blend in the smallest of spaces, while retaining a bold but subtle design.
Made from a durable metal sheet, its curved shape allows the top to be used as a high shelf for your belongings, while the bottom has been folded and cut to physically create the rack’s hooks.
Such a straightforward design results in self-explanatory uses: hang your outerwear and use it to keep your belongings at hand. A discreet and functional piece of furniture that adds a sense of lightness to your entryway.

Designed by Jeanne Mercier, the starting point for the Shoe Rack was to build an object that could easily blend in urban flats with space restriction; something discreet enough, but also worthy of becoming a highlight in any space. The result is a stackable shoe rack that can be used as self-standing rack or wall-mounted, each in two different positions. By expanding its functionality, the Shoe Rack transformed from furniture born to be hidden away, into an object that can easily become the bold highlight of any space — or a subtle spotlight for prized shoes.

Winner of Wallpaper's 2022 design awards, the metal KGT (pronounced "cagette") draws its inspiration from a fruits and vegetables crate you could see in a local market.
Designed for a friendlier, domestic purpose by studio CP-RV, the aluminium-made KGT is made through stamping, cutting and bending, each process revealing a feature of the product.
Small subtle notches at the bottom corners allow for easier lifting and grabbing. And thanks to stamped feet at the bottom and stamped dishes at the top, multiple KGT can be stacked while keeping their position fixed.
Use it as a breakfast tray. A desk organiser. A tool box. You could even hang it as a frame, or as a shelf. A metal box with a contemporary feel that seamlessly fits in any interior.

KGT WALL UNIT is a cabinet with removable drawers, providing versatility for use in either your home or office. You have the flexibility to use and combine 4 units: the smallest, which holds just one drawer, and the largest, featuring 6 vertical drawers.

The gap between each drawer offers visual lightness that recalls Donald Judd’s sculptures. This detail not only adds character to the wall unit but also highlights each unit individually. It subtly emphasizes that each drawer is detachable and can be used independently, transforming from a drawer to its original purpose: a stand-alone storage box

This unconventional approach, derived from an already existing product, has led to a collection of visually striking cabinets that are ideal for organizing your office or home space.

The sturdy structure comes with built-in bookends and cable holes, allowing for the display of lamps or electronic devices. Even when not in use, its expansive background panel invites creative use of color. Available as individual shelf units, multiple units can be mounted on a rail to form a multi-level shelving system. Both single and multiple shelves require only two screws for wall mounting.
