The 004 Coffee Table by Soft Baroque for Vaarnii is a bold, unapologetic object. Inspired by the rational joinery of traditional Finnish log houses — themselves a celebration of elementary wooden construction — Soft Baroque has inflated the round notch joint to 'comic proportions', creating a table of extraordinary solidity. The designers predict it will outlast any of its owners, and suggest it is largely suited to dancing on, given its hulking dimensions. The honest qualities of pine are boldly expressed across every surface.

Made in Finland from sustainably sourced Finnish pine.
