When Vaarnii began exploring pine in lighting design, it quickly became clear that these classic designs could not be bettered. Pine is used efficiently: its tone and grain are employed to maximum effect, projecting material mass while boasting actual lightness. Solid Finnish pine supports circular strips of high-quality pine veneer, reintroducing this classic 20th-century design to the market after decades of absence.
