The Arqui Rug Collection is a collaboration between Please Wait to Be Seated and Ouur Media, the founders of Kinfolk Magazine. Inspired by architectural elements, the Arqui 1 translates abstract shapes and graphic compositions into a tactile, woven form. The interplay of bold forms and subtle textures creates a striking three-dimensional effect, adding depth and dimension to any space.

Handwoven in India by master artisans, the Arqui 1 features a thick, structured weave that makes it ideal for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere — whether as a statement piece in a living room, foyer, boardroom, or bar. Beyond its visual impact, the Arqui 1 enhances acoustics, absorbing sound and softening the atmosphere. It can also be displayed as wall art with an optional wall-mounting panel.

HARD OUTSIDE, SOFT WITHIN — THE YUUGA BAR STOOL

The Yuuga bar stool by Tools Design for Please Wait to Be Seated was conceived with a simple but brilliant insight: bar stools are often viewed from behind. The designers embraced this to create a stool with a hard, beautifully curved exterior in 3D moulded oak veneer, and a soft, comfortable inner surface of moulded foam under leather upholstery.

Like the Asian clam of the same name, Yuuga has an organic shape on the outside and a soft inner surface — making it as comfortable to sit on for long periods as it is beautiful to look at. Designed with minimised dimensions to provide ample space around the table.

The Arco is an elegant, spacious coffee table designed by Moritz Bannach, featuring the iconic checkered laminate pattern designed by Superstudio — one of the most influential radical design collectives of the 20th century. Its geometric simplicity creates a powerful sculptural effect, making it an artistic eye-catcher in any room. This version is finished in the striking Sottsass red colourway.

In addition to the suggested colours and combinations, colours can be freely selected and combined. Arco is available in lacquered MDF in various colours or in selected real wood veneers, as well as in the Superstudio checkered laminate.

Moritz Bannach is a German furniture designer known for bold, geometric pieces that blur the line between furniture and sculpture. The Arco's checkered laminate is a tribute to Superstudio — the Florentine radical design group whose grid pattern became one of the most recognisable motifs in design history.

DESIGN: Muller van Severen.

Muller van severen’s furniture is both sculptural and functional. The solo seat appears as a subtle sketch of a cube in space. It was only a matter of time before this solo seat would find its way into garden settings. This artistic and colorful single-seater is fully weather-resistant and brings a sense of serenity to any garden, terrace, or patio.
