DESIGN: Václav Mlynář

The Buoy Collection was designed by Václav Mlynář, Creative Director of BOMMA. He found inspiration in the concept of buoys as orientation points that guide sailors day and night. His hand-blown crystal lights feature unusual light rods that run through the entire core formed by a monumental glass body. As Václav Mlynář explains: 

“The Buoy Collection seeks a balance between a classic light fixture and a light object, hovering at the edge of sculpture and product design”.

The Button series impresses and intrigues at first glance.
Mimicking a giant button, the broad-faced acrylic diffuser and thin-profiled fixture is memorable and playful as it invites its user to tilt the fixture to project light in the desired direction.
A wide circular LED surface casts a warm light in a sconce.

Caged Ceiling 5.0 is a large rectangular chandelier. The light is made from a matte black metal cage and comes with a changeable back panel and uses five LED Buster Bulb / Tube (bulbs sold separately). The 5.0 is perfect for putting over bars or dinner tables, and can be surface mounted directly to the ceiling or elongated with additional extension cages measuring up to 1 metre.

Caged Wall / Extra Large can be displayed on its own, in linear procession or combined with other Caged lights for large-scale arrangements and stunning chandeliers.

A luminaire made from a matt black metal and glass cage, complete with a cast metal back panel. It features a solid metal, cross knurled, lamp holder with B+P signature coin screws. IP44 rated and suitable for interior, exterior and bathroom use. Available in steel, brass and gun metal finishes.

Protected against water splashed from all directions with limited ingress. In some cases, moisture may get into the cage but will evaporate after a short time through drainage holes.
