While attending the Ariake design workshop in Saga – we found many interesting details within the factory, assembly line, storage and showroom. We choose to build this chair together with the craftsmen, taking bits and pieces from different items that had character, and worked towards refining the proportions and details, creating an “Outline” drawing in 1:1 which was then used to produce the prototype. It was an enjoyable and effective work process with an outcome that has both classic and modern influences. - Norm Architects.

Ozz becomes light and stone. He moves from domestic intimacy to the center of the house, showing himself as the protagonist of the space with a large arch that draws attention to himself. The design begins in the concrete and ends in the lampshade. In the middle, the stem flexes with a scenographic parabola that lets the light fall.

The Palco Wall Shelf offers both a vibrant backdrop and a practical storage solution for your books and belongings. Crafted from a single sheet of aluminum, its design prioritizes efficiency in production to minimize waste.

The sturdy structure comes with built-in bookends and cable holes, allowing for the display of lamps or electronic devices. Even when not in use, its expansive background panel invites creative use of color. Available as individual shelf units, multiple units can be mounted on a rail to form a multi-level shelving system. Both single and multiple shelves require only two screws for wall mounting.

This is emphasized by the small gap at the base, lifting the table off the floor and letting a sliver of light through.

Rings of lit spheres of handblown glass nestled below a conical form and suspended by a single stem, the forms of the Peak Chandeliers are both playful and elegant. The ceiling canopy is an identical smaller conical shape, mirroring the form of the chandelier. Elevating simple geometric forms, the proportions are everything in the Peak Chandelier, and every detail has been carefully considered. The glass diffusers are available in both “dipped” glass, featuring the SkLO double-dipped flame-polished mouth and “textured” glass, featuring a soft, frosted finish and subtle sculpted vertical ridges.

The Peak Sconce/Ceiling light is a small conical form which fits against the wall or ceiling supporting a lit handblown glass diffuser. The Pebble series celebrates the inexplicable and beautiful qualities of stones. Enhancing their simple yet sculptural form through translucency, glass-blown shapes endlessly evolve in shape as they appear from different perspectives.

Each glass form is connected to the mounting surface with a machined aluminum LED holder and heat sink; allowing the form to sit close to the surface—while housing the electrical connection.

The Pebble series celebrates the inexplicable and beautiful and beautiful qualities of stones. Enhancing their simple yet sculptural from through translucency, glass-blown shapes endlessly evolve in shape as they appear from different perspectives.

Two resting river rocks are balanced upon one another - a smooth rounded organic glass form illuminates atop a cast concrete base.

The Pebble Table Lamp is available in four different glass shapes in three colours. Each combination is unique as the resulting orientation is always different as the glass threads onto the base with the LED module. The Table Lamp is dimmable, allowing for the light output to adjust to the user´s desire.

Introduced in 2013, this year we revisited it with the rushed seat, an archetype of the vernacular tradition throughout the world. We use the checkered weave to rush the seat, a strong method that distributes the weight evenly across the surface.

With this new version, Pelleossa is destined never to grow old, paying homage to Chiavari chairs ancestral imagery.

the pepper mill appears to be a sculpture rather than a functional tool.

With these pepper and salt mills Muller Van Severen once again shows that everyday tools don´t have to be purely functional nor seemingly invisible. The design duo reinterpreted the classic mill by reshaping the two basic parts of it - the head and the cylinder - into two perfectly geometrical forms: a sphere and a cube.
